Miss Sierra Leone USA Attends 2013 Presentation of Insignia and Awards and Reception

Hello world!!!

Hope you and yours are doing well. I'm doing great, thanks to the Almighty. As promised, I'll be writing detailed blogs about my adventures during my recent homecoming trip to Salone as Miss Sierra Leone USA; read my preview blog post.   My first official event was the 2013 Presentation of Insignia and Awards and Reception hosted at State House in Freetown; the event was held on Sierra Leone's 52nd Independence Day, April 27th. Knowing the relevance of such a day in my nation's history, I couldn't be more honored to start it off this way. In addition, I was very excited to be back in the town I was born and raised, and the city that I represented at the Miss Sierra Leone USA Pageant, as Miss Freetown USA. Presentations were done by His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
